Olympic celebrations kick off at apm

A campaign to support Hong Kong athletes in the Paris Olympic, named the Road to Paris roving promotion, kick-started at apm mall in Kwun Tong yesterday.

A host of Olympic and sports-themed events, including exhibitions, interactive game booths, athlete photo exhibitions, sports experience and athlete sharing sessions, will be organized in multiple locations from now to August 11. Officials and guests including Under Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Raistlin Lau Chun, President of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China Timothy Fok Tsun-ting, Consul General of France in Hong Kong and Macau Christile Drulhe, and venue supporter Sun Hung Kai Properties' executive director Christopher Kwok, officiated the roving promotion yesterday.

As of yesterday, Team Hong Kong, China has acquired over 30 tickets to Paris in badminton, cycling, fencing, gymnastics, rowing, sailing, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, triathlon, and windsurfing.
