Citizens and tourists plus children can join the Neon Urban Exploration launch ceremony next Friday at the recreation area in the Kai Yip Shopping Centre at Kowloon Bay. Neon Urban Exploration is a night carnival with suitable themes, providing a range of sports and artistic settings for people to unleash their creativity and perhaps break sweat under the guidance of top athletes and coaches.
The event organized by People's Place marks the beginning of a series of neon sports programs in support to the government's Night Vibes campaign.

Kai Yip Recreation Centre will be decked out in neon lights and cast shadows with a series of activities including yoga guided by instructor Coffee Lam Chin-yu, an eight-kilometer neon run from there through Kowloon East led by Hong Kong women's marathon record holder Christy Yiu Kit-ching and SAR middle- and long-distance runner Chan Ka-ho.
Also on the neon bill from 5pm to 10pm next Friday is an animal flow led by instructor Vangie Tang as well as roller skating and table tennis.
