Ex-miss HK appointed director

Miss Hong Kong 2015 Louisa Mak Ming-sze has been appointed as a non-executive director of Legendary Education.

The 31-year-old is entitled to a director's fee of HK$360,000 a year in the next three years . LM Workshop, a consultancy fully owned by her, will receive a consultant fee of HK$1 million a year over the same period. This is for the provision of consultancy services, including advice on the firm's investor relations and the development of education-related businesses. Mak obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Law and a Master of Arts from the University of Cambridge in 2014 and 2018, respectively, before being admitted to the New York Bar in 2018.

She worked for the consulting firm McKinsey & Company from 2019 to 2022 where she led multiple management consulting projects on strategy, organization and design thinking.

Prior to that, she was in the entertainment industry.
