Driver arrested for motoring while disqualified in Wong Tai Sin

A 39-year-old man was arrested for driving while disqualified and without third-party insurance in Wong Tai Sin on Tuesday evening.

Officers from the Traffic Kowloon East intercepted a suspicious private car on Lung Cheung Road near Temple Mall at around 6pm during an operation targeting disqualified drivers.

The local driver, surnamed Ling, was arrested on suspicion of "driving while disqualified" and "driving without third-party insurance." He has been released on bail pending further investigation and must report back to police in late February.
