Motorists are advised to plan ahead as parts of Lung Cheung Road in Wong Tai Sin will be temporarily closed overnight on Saturday to facilitate footbridge demolition works.
The Transport Department said the eastbound carriageway of Lung Cheung Road between Tai Hom Road and Hammer Hill Road, near Plaza Hollywood, as well as nearby roads, will be subject to phased temporary closures starting from 11pm on Saturday (January 10) until 5.30am on Sunday.
During the most extensive phase of the works, from 1am to 5.30am on Sunday, the affected eastbound section of Lung Cheung Road between Tai Hom Road and Hammer Hill Road will be fully closed to traffic. To maintain traffic flow, the corresponding westbound carriageway will be temporarily converted to two-way traffic during this period.

The department said appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Drivers are urged to exercise patience, drive with care, and follow the instructions of police officers on duty.
The Transport Department advised road users to allow extra travel time and consider alternative routes where possible during the affected hours.
