35-year-old driver arrested as drugs found in car on Prince Edward Road East

A 35-year-old driver was arrested after police found drugs including methamphetamine, cocaine and etomidate in his car on Prince Edward Road East in Kowloon City early Tuesday.

Officers from the Kowloon East traffic noticed the car swerving around 3am and followed it, stopping the vehicle near the Choi Hung bus terminus.

The driver, who works in catering, did not resist. Police seized the suspected drugs and conducted a drug driving test. A police dog was called but found nothing else.

The case is under investigation.
