Taxi driver trapped in vehicle flips on side in Tseung Kwan O

A taxi driver was injured and briefly trapped in his vehicle following a collision with a private car in Tseung Kwan O on Monday.

The incident occurred around 3pm at the roundabout at the junction of Po Shun Road and Tong Ming Street, causing the taxi to flip on its right side in the middle of the roundabout. 

The driver was later rescued and taken to Tseung Kwan O Hospital for treatment.

The right front section of the private car was severely damaged, with its bumper detached.

Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
