Psychiatric patient returns to Kowloon Hospital after five-hour absence

A 24-year-old male psychiatric patient returned to Kowloon Hospital on Monday evening after going missing for over five hours earlier in the day.

The patient had left the hospital without shoes around 3:15pm while being escorted back to the ward after completing occupational therapy.

Hospital security conducted searches and notified both family members and police. The patient voluntarily returned to the facility around 8:45pm and remains in stable condition.
