The 15th National Games are underway with tremendous excitement, and Hong Kong athletes continue to deliver historic performances on home ground. Across the city, Sino Group’s Olympian City, tmtplaza, Citywalk and One North are broadcasting live competitions on giant screens, allowing citizens to cheer for Team Hong Kong together and witness the team achieving breakthrough after breakthrough. With the Games only a few days in, Team Hong Kong has already secured important victories, prompting the malls to give away 600 free drinks earlier in the week.

After Siobhán Haughey captured Hong Kong’s first gold in the women’s 200m freestyle, Team Hong Kong continued to deliver strong performances across multiple sports, marking one of the most impressive National Games campaigns in recent history. With athletes achieving breakthroughs in various events, community spirit soared as supporters gathered at live-broadcast zones citywide.
Now, to celebrate the latest achievements, an additional 1,200 free drinks will be distributed citywide.
To allow more citizens to feel the festive spirit, anyone holding a National Games ticket can redeem a HK$50 shopping voucher at participating malls. At the same time, the Sports Fever Rewards campaign encourages shoppers to redeem sports merchandise and vouchers, keeping the city deeply engaged in the Games.

Sino Malls have been driving citywide sports engagement since September, hosting more than 30 sports-themed activities and a series of cheering events. These programmes span both traditional Chinese sports and emerging modern activities. One standout highlight was the public showcase of lion dance and dragon dance—listed as mass-participation events for the first time in the National Games—where 15 professional teams delivered an impressive display that drew enthusiastic applause at Olympian City.
tmtplaza’s newly upgraded outdoor activity area, tmtp commons, officially opened in October. The 10,000 square feet space features six pickleball courts and has already welcomed nearly 3,000 players for trial sessions and competitions, bringing new vibrancy and athletic energy to the community.
