Indian man held after cannabis found in car in Central

A 24-year-old Indian man has been arrested after police found suspected cannabis during a vehicle inspection in Central early Thursday.

Officers from the Hong Kong Island Regional Tactical Unit spotted the suspicious car parked on Wing Lok Street around 2am and conducted an intercept.

A small quantity of suspected cannabis was discovered inside the vehicle during the investigation.

The suspect was arrested for possessing dangerous drugs and remains in custody. The case is being handled by Central District police.
