Waterspout captivates border residents amid thunderstorms and heavy rain

A dead boar lying in the middle of Clear Water Bay Road caused a truck to collide with a light goods vehicle on Monday afternoon near Tseng Lan Shue in Sai Kung.
The traffic accident occurred shortly before 1pm today when the light goods vehicle was traveling along Clear Water Bay Road towards Kowloon and came across a wild boar lying in the road.
The 54-year-old male driver slowed down to avoid hitting the animal, but the truck behind it was unable to brake in time and collided.
The driver and a 60-year-old male passenger of the light goods vehicle sustained minor injuries and were sent to United Christian Hospital for treatment, whereas the truck driver was uninjured.
The dead wild boar was taken away by Food and Environmental Hygiene Department personnel, and the cause of its death is currently unknown.
