A teenage girl was rescued after getting lost while hiking alone on Tsz Wan Shan on Sunday night.
Authorities received a report around 11 pm from the girl's mother, who stated her teenage daughter had become lost while hiking alone, possibly along MacLehose Trail Section 5.
Firefighters, ambulance personnel, and police officers conducted a search operation. With assistance from the Government Flying Service helicopter, the girl was located on a hill opposite Tsz Wan Shan shortly after midnight on Monday.
The unharmed teenager was airlifted to the Government Flying Service headquarters. Police have reclassified the case as "miscellaneous."
