Taxi, coach collision on Tuen Mun Road injures 4, including 2 children

A dramatic collision between a taxi and a coach on Tuen Mun Road on Thursday evening left four people injured, including two children.

The accident occurred around 7:08 pm when the taxi, traveling toward Tuen Mun, suddenly braked and swerved to avoid a vehicle ahead. Dashcam footage shows the taxi spinning halfway across lanes while emitting white smoke, possibly from intense tire friction.

A coach approaching from behind reportedly couldn't stop in time, violently T-boning the stationary taxi. The impact injured two adults and two children inside the taxi.

All casualties were transported to Yan Chai Hospital for treatment. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
