The AIA International Hot Air Balloon Festival at Central Harbourfront entered its third day but continued to face restrictions due to licensing issues, preventing hot air balloons from carrying passengers.
Starting at 8am organizers inflated four small and two large hot air balloons, allowing ticketed visitors to take photos.
However, by around 10am, all balloons were deflated due to unfavorable weather conditions.
The morning session ran until 1pm, with adult tickets priced at HK$200.
Tomorrow marks the festival's final day. Organizers announced on social media that if the Hong Kong Observatory issues a Typhoon Signal No. 3 or higher two hours before the event, it will be canceled.
