While yesterday’s HK$32 million Mark Six lottery jackpot slipped away unclaimed, citizens now have the chance to try their luck with the upcoming Mark Six Season Opening Snowball, offering potential winnings of up to HK$80 million.
To kick off the new racing season, the Hong Kong Jockey Club announced the launch of this inaugural draw, which carries a snowball of HK$60 million on this Saturday (Sep 6), with the First Division Prize Fund estimated to reach HK$80 million for a single HK$10 winning unit.
According to the Jockey Club, the most frequently drawn number during the pre-season draws is “34”, appearing six times.
Other lucky numbers include “3”, “5”, “8”, “15”, “16”, “32”, and “35”, each drawn five times.
In the past 50 draws, the hottest number is "32," which has appeared 15 times, followed by "29" and "45," each drawn 13 times.
On the flip side, the least popular numbers are "1" and "43," which have only been drawn twice, while "14" has shown up just three times.
Notably, numbers "2," "4" "8," and "37," have each been drawn only four times.
Mark Six tickets are now on sale at all off-course betting branches, via telephone betting (including the 1886 automated service), and digital channels.
The draw will be held at 9.30pm on September 6, with ticket sales ending at 9.15pm.
Moreover, the scheduled draw on September 4 will be canceled to allow players more time to purchase tickets.
To enhance the customer ticket purchasing experience, the Jockey Club has updated its “Classic 3-in-1” app, adding "Self Select" and "Quick Pick" buttons, allowing users to easily select their preferred numbers with a single tap.
