Elderly man dies after being found unconscious in Cheung Sha Wan public toilet

A man in his sixties was pronounced dead on Saturday evening after being found unconscious and bleeding in a public toilet in Cheung Sha Wan.

Police were called to Hoi Lai Shopping Centre at 100 Sham Mong Road at approximately 6pm after receiving reports that a person had fainted inside a men's restroom cubicle.

Firefighters forced their way into the stall and discovered the man unconscious with a head injury and blood on the floor. 

He was rushed by ambulance to Caritas Medical Centre for emergency treatment but was later certified dead. 

Authorities are currently working to identify the man and determine the cause of the incident.
