Originally scheduled to run until August 24, the event has been extended by one week due to overwhelming demand, with tickets for the additional dates going on sale today at 5pm on designated platforms.
Spanning three ticketed zones centered around clothing, food, shelter, and transportation, the exhibition showcases over 100 3D sculptures and a towering 9-meter inflatable installation.
Visitors can immerse themselves in recreated classic manga scenes and admire special Hong Kong-exclusive artwork, including a playful "yum cha" series where CHIIKAWA characters transform into dim sum favorites like shrimp dumplings and siu mai.

The exhibition's popularity has also spilled into nearby transit hubs.
At East Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station, themed decorations now adorn pillars, walls, and select gate entrances. Commuters using designated gates are treated to CHIIKAWA's original voice clips as their entry or exit chime—a charming touch enhancing the citywide celebration.
Due to high demand, access to the exhibition's souvenir store requires advance bookings, with all slots filled for the first week. Organizers noted that walk-in opportunities may periodically become available throughout the extended run, which now concludes August 31.
The extension follows two rapid sell-out ticket batches, underscoring Hong Kong's enduring appetite for immersive pop culture experiences.
