The highly anticipated CR7 LIFE Museum, dedicated to Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, will open its doors on July 7 at K11 MUSEA in Tsim Sha Tsui, with organizers confirming that the superstar himself will visit Hong Kong—though the exact date remains under wraps.
At a press conference on Thursday, the CR7 Family Office team revealed that Hong Kong was chosen as the location for the first Asian edition of the museum due to the city’s status as the "gateway to Asia" and its massive fanbase.
"Hong Kong is the natural choice—it’s just the beginning, and we won’t stop here," a spokesperson said, emphasizing Ronaldo’s strong connection with Asia and China.
The museum, set to run for one year, will showcase Ronaldo’s illustrious career through trophies, memorabilia, and cutting-edge interactive exhibits. Visitors can expect life-sized replicas of the football icon and immersive multimedia displays. Additionally, an official merchandise store will offer exclusive collectibles for fans.
While Ronaldo’s visit is confirmed, his schedule remains a "surprise upon surprise," according to organizers, who hinted at potential appearances linked to the museum’s opening or the Saudi Super Cup, set to take place in Hong Kong in August.
With projections of attracting over 12 million visitors, the museum aims to solidify Hong Kong’s reputation as a global hub for sports and tourism.
Tickets are already on sale, ranging from standard entry at HK$180 to VIP packages offering exclusive perks, including guided tours and limited-edition merchandise.
