Housing Authority reclaims three public housing projects under Aggressive Construction Company

The Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) announced on Monday the issuance of a re-entry notice to Aggressive Construction Company (ACCL) due to unsatisfactory performance on three public housing projects.

The three involved construction projects included the underground link of Pak Tin Estate redevelopment Phase 10, Public Housing Development at Tuen Mun Area 29 West and Tung Chung Area 100.

The sites are projected to provide at least 6,200 flats.

Notably, the Development Bureau rejected the license renewal application of ACCL earlier in May this year and removed it from the register of general building contractors, which prohibited the company from undertaking any construction works under the Buildings Ordinance.

However, ACCL subsequently filed an appeal to the High Court, which temporarily granted the company a stay from the dislisting.
