Marco Fu expresses enjoyment despite loss to Jimmy White in exhibition match

Despite the defeat, Fu expressed his enjoyment of the match and his intention to continue participating in future matches to improve his ranking, with the hope of competing in ranking tournaments.

In the exhibition match, Fu won the first set but White rallied in the subsequent two sets to clinch the match.

Fu hopes to take part in ranking tournaments in HK

This event marked the first time in 35 years that Hong Kong hosted a snooker ranking tournament, which was limited to the top 32 players. Fu, participating in the exhibition match, shared his aspirations to compete in a ranking tournament in Hong Kong in the future. He emphasized that he is currently not focused on accumulating points or improving his ranking, but rather participating with a hobbyist mentality to perform well.

Fu also commented on an incident where attendees were asked to leave the Kai Tak Arena late on Tuesday night during a match between English players Kyren Wilson and Matthew Selt. He viewed it as a learning opportunity, noting that the large-scale event and new venue required further adjustments and acclimation.
