A young seller was busted selling space oil from Cambodia and boasting of its purity during an investigation by Sing Tao Headline.
In a recent undercover operation conducted by Sing Tao Headline, a sister publication of The Standard, a young dealer of space oil, aged between 15 and 16, was discovered.
The dealer disclosed that the drugs originated from Cambodia and boasted about their high purity.
The operation took a sudden turn when the dealer noticed that the journalists were covertly recording the interaction, which led him to abruptly flee the scene, demonstrating his heightened alertness.
In a related incident, a local television station interviewed an individual claiming to be a friend of three teenagers who were arrested late Wednesday.
The arrests occurred after the teenagers were caught on camera engaging in group sex in a car park at a public housing estate.
Police also found suspected “space oil” in one of the arrestees' possession.
The interviewee revealed his acquaintance with one of the male arrestees and the female arrestee, sharing that they had been using space oil for the past two years.
He described how the drug use sometimes led to disputes between the two, occasionally escalating to physical confrontations.
According to him, their drug use typically occurred at night, often in parks or on secluded back staircases.
Additionally, residents of Tin Shui Wai have raised concerns about the increasing prevalence of space oil usage among young people in the area.
