(Video) Truck driver escapes unscathed after vehicle catches fire in Hung Hom

A truck driver has escaped unscathed after his vehicle burst into flames in Hung Hom.

The cargo compartment at the back of the truck caught fire at 10.05am on Wednesday when it was traveling along Chatham Road North towards Tsim Sha Tsui.

A video posted online shows wooden materials bursting into flames inside the compartment.

The driver and the passenger managed to escape on their own.

Firefighters had extinguished the blaze and no one was injured in the incident. An investigation is ongoing.
