Tonkatsu chain Ca-Tu-Ya goes dark across Hong Kong, exit suspected

An elderly man who suddenly jumped into the sea at Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier on Thursday was rescued by police officers.
The man, later identified as 73-year-old Kwan, was at the pier at 9.26 am when he jumped into the sea.
The act was witnessed by a police patrol nearby, with one of the uniformed police officers immediately removing his gear and jumping into the sea to rescue Kwan. The other officers then helped pull the two out of the water.
Kwan remained conscious when rescued and was sent to Kwong Wah Hospital for examination.
After an initial investigation, police did not suspect foul play.
