The Winter Harbourfront Pyrotechnics illuminated the night sky over West Kowloon at 8 pm on Christmas Eve (Dec 24), kicking off a three-day fireworks display to celebrate Christmas.

The ten-minute fireworks show featured vibrant red and green hues symbolizing Christmas, along with designs inspired by iconic elements of Hong Kong, attracting large crowds of residents and tourists.
At the Star Ferry Pier in Tsim Sha Tsui, large Christmas trees and festive decorations adorned the area outside the shopping malls, with fireworks and artificial snow displays in the evening.
Many residents dressed in holiday-themed outfits to embrace the festive spirit, with some even outfitting their pets in special Christmas costumes.
Additionally, some residents mentioned that the Christmas atmosphere feels stronger compared to last year, with many expressing a greater willingness to spend during the holiday.
