Sustainable Development for Future Generations with the BOLDER Principle
This event also embodied Sun Life Hong Kong's commitment to sustainable development. "Sun Life Hong Kong has been in Hong Kong for 132 years and in Canada for 159 years. Sun Life Hong Kong also uniquely commissioned a batch of small drums handcrafted by grassroots ethnic minorities using recycled wood as souvenirs for employees. Moreover, the special costumes for this event were made from environmentally friendly materials. For Social (S), the drumming process demonstrated teamwork and inclusivity. In the future, there are plans to combine activities with community projects, recruiting volunteer teams to promote cultural development in society. In the first quarter of next year, the Sun Life volunteer team will visit St. Christopher's Home, where they will teach the children to play African drums. This not only helps to cultivate their cooperation skills but also brings them joy through music. As for Governance (G), Sun Life Hong Kong emphasizes transparency, allowing everyone to express their opinions in an open environment, greatly enhancing corporate governance transparency. As a pioneer in ESG investment products within the industry, Sun Life has consistently delivered outstanding performance in sustainable investments.
