A selection of photographs has been released by the Kai Tak Sports Park team showing the details behind the new Main Stadium that can hold 50,000 spectators for mega-events.
Photos released Tuesday saw the state-of-the-art venue featuring a retractable roof and a dedicated stage pocket, which the sports park described as “perfect for world-class events and spectacular performances.”
The South Deck Terrace, meanwhile, offers an event platform that allows spectators to immerse themselves in the action.
The Main Stadium is also equipped with a glass curtain wall that provides panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and seamlessly connects the stadium to the city's vibrant landscape. The vibrant seating displays the Chinese character "Kai Tak", celebrating its rich heritage.
“As we complete our innovative turf system, it will support top-level football and rugby, while also adapting for various sports and entertainment experiences,” said the sports park.
