Hong Kong Disneyland's running event, which featured the World of Frozen route for the first time, has attracted a record-breaking participation of over 20,000 runners.

Participants included mainland and international tourists, with many runners dressing in uniquely Disney-inspired outfits to enjoy the magical adventure.
The two-day "Hong Kong Disneyland 10K Weekend 2024" took place on Saturday and Sunday, with participants running through the theme park's iconic attractions.
During the opening ceremony, Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po noted that the race highlights Hong Kong's appeal to tourists and emphasizes the importance of developing tourism creatively.
Additionally, a total of around 80 runners with disabilities participated in the event.
Visitors expressed excitement about the chance to run in the World of Frozen, which is open to runners for the first time.
A family of three from Thailand has indicated that they will allocate three days to visit the theme park during their five-day trip to the city. They have greatly appreciated the diverse culinary offerings and rich cultural experiences in Hong Kong.
