Hiker duo found two hours after getting lost on Sunset Peak

A man and a woman were found two hours after they got lost while hiking on Sunset Peak on Sunday night.

At about 9 pm yesterday (Oct 20), a 54-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman realized they were lost near Sunset Peak and called the police for assistance.

Upon receiving the report, both police and firefighters responded and commenced a search operation in the area.

The hikers were successfully located at 11.06 pm. Fortunately, they were uninjured and were safely escorted down the mountain by the rescue personnel.
