Police are currently investigating a five-vehicle collision on Tuen Mun Road that injured ten on Monday morning.
Shortly before 9 am today, while the Amber rainstorm warning was hoisted, a five-vehicle collision occurred on the Tuen Mun Road in the direction of Tsuen Wan, involving a double-decker bus, two vans, a sedan, and a motorcycle.
It was reported that passengers of a van were trapped due to the accident, and the driver of the motorcycle also fell to the ground and was injured.
Rescue workers arrived at the scene to help the trapped people escape the vehicle, and sent a total of ten injured people, five men and five women, to the Yan Chai Hospital for medical attention.
Affected by the incident, traffic at the scene was blocked.
The motorcycle was suspected to have lost control and fell to the ground, with the sedan and the van behind it seeing the incident and stopping.
However, the KMB following behind had attempted to stop but could not brake in time and rammed into two vehicles in the front.
At the same time, a dark blue van in the express lane attempted to change lanes to avoid the accident but accidentally struck the rear of the KMB, leading the five-vehicle collision.
