New World Development (NWD) has been recognized by TIME Magazine as one of the "World's Most Sustainable Companies of 2024."
Ranking 43rd among the top 500 companies globally recognized for promoting corporate responsibility and advancing sustainable practices, NWD stood out for its achievements based on more than 20 indicators relating to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas.
That includes the Group's climate change actions, energy conservation, and emission reduction efforts.
The inaugural list includes the top 500 companies from over 30 countries and regions worldwide. Sino Land Company Limited is also on the list, ranking 153.
Adrian Cheng Chi-kong, Chief Executive of NWD, said the selection by TIME Magazine has affirming the Group's achievements in sustainable development.
"We have proactively incorporated sustainability into our business models to develop green buildings, reduce carbon emissions and energy intensity, and support the transition to a low-carbon economy."
