Most students have found the app user-friendly, adding that the check-in process allows them to ensure they are in the correct seat.
Some also noted that, with the new check-in method, invigilators are no longer required to check students’ identity mid-exam, allowing students to better focus on the exams.
The principal of Ying Wa College, Dion Chen, said 51 students attended the exam at the school’s examination hall today, and the check-in process was relatively smooth.
Chen said students were well-informed of the relevant procedures, and none of the candidates required assistance from invigilators.
Following the visual arts exam, Chinese Language - the first core subject - will be written next on April 11.
