Mercury to rise gradually, cold weather warning canceled

Temperatures will rise slightly in the coming two days, said the Observatory.

According to the nine-day weather forecast, the maximum temperature can rise to 25 degrees Celsius on Tuesday (Mar 5), while the temperature can reach around 20 degrees Celsius for most of next week.

The weather watchdog said a relatively humid southerly airstream will affect the city in the next few days.

“It will be misty with a few showers over the region, and temperatures will rise progressively.”

The northeast monsoon is expected to reach Guangdong on Wednesday (Mar 6), while the latter part of this week will be windier with temperatures dropping slightly over the coastal areas.
