A woman was arrested and two girls, aged 16, were taken away as West Kowloon police busted a vice establishment involving underage females in Tsim Sha Tsui on Thursday.
The establishment was located at a building on Kimberley Road. Police first arrested a 20-year-old woman for managing a vice establishment and seized some condoms, mouthwash and lubricant.
Officers also took away two 16-year-old girls for questioning for suspectedly participating in prostitution.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the establishment attracted customers to visit by promoting young girls aged 16 to 27 on social media platforms. The establishment then extracted commission from the girls in order to generate profits.
Police believe they have smashed an organized vice syndicate involving underage girls.
The woman was remanded in custody. Police are also considering applying for a court order to protect the two girls involved.
