The chairman and managing director of Henderson Land Development was injured while moving his luggage in the course of flying from Shenzhen to Beijing yesterday for the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference meeting.

Lee will be attending the meeting today in a wheelchair.
A Henderson spokesman said Lee sustained a bone fracture but did not need to undergo any surgeries, adding that the CPPCC secretariat has arranged for the best doctors to treat him.Meanwhile, CPPCC member and CK Hutchison chairman and group comanaging director Victor Li Tzar-kuoi, son of property tycoon Li Ka-shing, will be absent from the meeting. Sources said he was suffering from a fever and chose to remain at home.
