The government will distribute Covid-19 rapid test kits to 170,000 residents, cleaners and property management staffers in various districts after sewage tested positive for Covid-19.

The affected districts included:
1. Kwun Tong District - Ping Shek Estate, Choi Fook Estate and Choi Ha Estate
2. Tuen Mun District - Hong Kong Gold Coast, Sam Shing Estate, Aegean Coast, Siu On Court, Seaview Garden, Tsing Yung Terrace and Bayview Terrace
3. Eastern District - Fullview Garden, Harmony Garden, Cheerful Garden, Kai Tsui Court and Hiu Tsui Court
4. Sai Kung District - Verbena Heights, Hong Sing Garden, Ying Ming Court, Yan Ming Court, King Ming Court and Ho Ming Court
5. Southern District - Ap Lei Chau Estate
6. Yuen Long District - Tin Chung Court, Tin Ching Estate and Tin Fu Court
In addition, authorities have locked down six blocks in Tuen Mun, Kwun Tong, Tsing Yi, Ho Man Tin and Wong Tai Sin from Thursday afternoon to flush out silent Covid carriers, after sewage samples from the buildings tested positive.
They included Oi Hei House, Yau Oi Estate in Tuen Mun; Hang Chui House, Cheung Hang Estate in Tsing Yi; and Tak Man House, Oi Man Estate in Ho Man Tin.
Also affected were Fu Yan House at Fu Shan Estate in Wong Tai Sin, as well as Tin Lok House and Tin Fai House at Shun Tin Estate in Kwun Tong.
The buildings were expected to be unsealed on Friday afternoon.
According to the compulsory testing notice, any person who had been present at the above buildings for more than two hours from February 25 to March 10 must undergo compulsory testing by March 12.
