Get vaccinated, 97-year-old Uncle Ray calls

Legendary disc jockey ‘Uncle Ray’ Ray Cordeiro, 97, has called upon people to get vaccinated. 

Named "The world’s most durable DJ" in 2000 by the Guinness Book of World Records, Cordeiro retired last year after over seven decades in broadcasting. He also got vaxxed last July. 

With his recognizable voice, he said in a video message via public broadcaster Radio Television Hong Kong: “To fight Covid-19, we need to pay attention to personal hygiene and follow the social distancing protocol.

“Getting the Covid-19 vaccine is the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones. We will fight this together.”
