Mau Chuen House at Shui Chuen O Estate in Shatin was locked down on Saturday night after sewage samples there tested positive for Covid-19.
The lockdown is expected to be lifted around noon on Sunday.
Residents there must undergo testing by 11pm on Saturday night, while citizens who had been to the building for more than two hours between January 30 and today (Feb 12) must take the Covid tests by next Monday (Feb 14).
Vaccinated citizens and those had tested negative recently must also take the tests as a mutant strain was involved.
Government warned that anyone fails to comply with the compulsory testing notice commits an offense and will be fined HK$10,000.
