The lockdown was lifted at 7am on Monday.
Health officials said they visited about 720 households during the testing, and will follow up 40 households which did not answer the door.
As of 9am, test records of around 335 residents were checked. Forty-eight people were found to have not undergone compulsory testing and were issued with compulsory testing orders. Three of them were also issued with a fixed penalty of HK$5,000.
The building in Tai Wo Hau Estate - which is a 10-minute walk from Kwai Chung Estate where infections are skyrocketing, was locked down on Sunday night after authorities fail to find the source of infection for a 18-year-old female student at Delia Memorial School (Glee Path) in Mei Foo who lives there.
Earlier on Sunday, Hong Kong reported 140 Covid-19 cases, including 104 cases related to the Kwai Chung Estate outbreak.
