(Video) Close shave for driver as car bursts into flames in Sham Shui Po

A driver escaped unscathed when the car he was driving burst into flames near Mei Ho House of Shek Kip Mei Estate in the early hours of Thursday.  

The driver was driving his car on Tai Po Road when it caught fire around 3am. The car engine first began emitting smoke before it burst into flames, explosions were also heard during the fire.  

The driver managed to escape, and no casualties were reported.  

Firefighters responded to the scene to douse the flames, and the Fire Services Department said it is currently investigating the cause of the fire. The vehicle was severely damaged in the incident.
