The government has extended the deadline for Octopus card users to collect their consumption vouchers until September 30, 2022.
Octopus card users are supposed to collected their vouchers by tapping their cards at convenience stores, MTR stations and certain collection points within three months after the voucher is issued.
It means October 31 should have been the deadline for Octopus card users to collect their first voucher issued on August 1.
As a small number of Octopus card users have yet to collect their first voucher, the government announced that the deadline for collecting the vouchers, including the previous one or the coming ones, has been extended to September 30, 2022.
The extension will not affect other existing arrangements for the government to issue vouchers to eligible citizens through Octopus cards, it said.
Citizens who wish to collect the vouchers using Octopus cards can visit the designated website or call the hotline at 2969 5500 for more information.
