Police have arrested two people accused of bicycle theft, involving three bicycles worth around HK$9,000.

The force received a report from a 27-year-old man on April 7, reporting that his bike - worth around HK$1,880 - which was parked at a bicycle parking space on 25 Po Ning Road in Tseung Kwan O was stolen.
After investigation, officers on the next day arrested a 42-year-old foreign man for theft at Yau Ma Tei MTR station, with the bicycle recovered along with him.
Meanwhile, a 46-year-old man filed a report to the force on April 13, saying two of his bicycles parked at a bicycle parking space on 9 Tong Chun Street in Tseung Kwan O was stolen. The two bicycles were said to worth up to HK$6,600.
A 24-year-old man was arrested for theft yesterday, with officers recovering one of the bikes within his apartment.
Both arrestees were released on bail pending further enquiries and are required to report back to Police in mid-May.
The force called on members of the public to park their bikes on legitimate bicycle parking spaces and remind citizens to lock their bicycles on secured facilities to lower the chance of having their bicycles stolen.
