Demo against Fo Tan estate quarantine plan

About 10 members from the Federation of Public Housing Estates and Civic Party demonstrated outside the Office of the Chief Executive in Admiralty to protest against using the newly-built Chun Yeung Estate in Fo Tan as a quarantine center.

The center needs to be cleaned and sanitized and this will disrupt tenants who plan to move in during April, the group said, while suggesting the government to rent hotels and let them store belongings at community halls temporarily.
