Hong Kong stocks rose by midday on Monday.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index increased by 161 points, or 0.6 percent to 26,403 points by noon. The half-day market turnover was HK$114 billion.
The Hang Seng Tech Index inched up 0.1 percent to 5,844 points at noon.
The best performer among blue chip stocks was Labubu doll maker Pop Mart International (9992), whose shares went up 6.8 percent.
In the mainland, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index was flat at 3,996 points and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Component Index dropped 0.6 percent to 13,325 points at the midday close.
