Whale of a time off Sai Kung

It's really jaw-dropping when you get to watch a whale opening its gigantic mouth at close range in the waters off Sai Kung.

It is understood that the whale was spotted yesterday afternoon by Nam Fung Wan, also known as Millionaire's Beach, in Sai Kung. A video circulated online shows a whale hold its mouth open in the shape of an "L" for a while above the surface.

The whale shows only its mouth in the footage and its body remains in the water. People on a boat were amazed to see the magnificent creature.

The video also drew netizens' attention. One said: "I can see those tiny fish swim into its mouth!"
