Woo noted that the academy will shift from one-on-one training exchanges with individual counties’ anti-graft agencies to a regional-based professional collaboration that focuses on offering simultaneous training for countries within the same region across all continents.
This regional approach aims to optimize training resources and extend benefits to a greater number of anti-corruption organizations worldwide.
Over the past two years, HKIAAC has delivered 43 international anti-corruption courses, drawing more than 5,000 participants from over 90 jurisdictions. These include several Belt and Road Initiative countries and ASEAN member states.
The academy also inaugurated its new learning facility, the Nexus, which integrates advanced technology to further strengthen global anti-corruption capabilities through enhanced training programs and closer international collaboration.
