Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the 42nd Hong Kong International Jewellery Show will be staged from March 4 to 8 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, while the 12th Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show will run from March 2 to 6 at AsiaWorld‑Expo.
This year’s twin jewelry shows bring together some 4,000 exhibitors from over 40 countries and regions, with 70 percent coming from outside Hong Kong, deputy executive director of the HKTDC Jenny Koo Jing-man said during a press conference yesterday. Exhibitor participation from Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, and India has expanded, and Uzbekistan is joining for the first time, she added.
Speaking on the market, the HKTDC noted that Hong Kong’s export volume of premium jewelry to Asean nations recorded a 51 percent increase last year, while exports to the United Kingdom, Australia, and Switzerland grew by 36 percent, 28 percent, and 10 percent, respectively.
During the press conference, artist Hera Chan Hiu-wa presented two exquisite collections of high-end jewellery, including two sets, each comprising a necklace, ring, and earrings, valued at HK$8 million and US$250,000 (around HK$1,950,000), respectively.

Over 40 themed pavilions will be featured, including a new Hard Pure Gold Pavilion. It will feature 11 exhibitors from the mainland showcasing innovative gold craftsmanship, aiming to leverage the fairs as a springboard for international expansion.
To encourage visitors to explore the city beyond the exhibition halls, the HKTDC has partnered with the Hong Kong Tourism Board to offer dining promotions and curated local experiences, ranging from horse racing and harbor cruises to tram parties.
Meanwhile, the Hall of Fame at the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show will make a highly anticipated return this year, expanding by over 40 percent in scale. At the Hall of Extraordinary, Hong Kong exhibitor Continental Diamond Company will showcase an 18-karat white and rose gold ring set with blue and light pink diamonds.
A series of events spotlighting Oriental aesthetics will also be staged, as the fairs feature numerous jewelry pieces inspired by Asian culture and heritage.
Moreover, the Hong Kong International Jewelry Show will have the award ceremonies of two competitions: the Hong Kong International Fashion Chuk Kam Jewellery Design Competition 2026, which encourages designers to create commercially viable and culturally rich gold jewelry for young consumers in Asean and the Middle East; and the inaugural International Fei Cui Jewellery Design Competition 2026.
More than 20 seminars and networking sessions will be held, including a discussion on how artificial intelligence is moving from design to commercialization. There will also be seminars where online influencers will share how to leverage e-commerce to enhance brand visibility and boost sales.
