Beauty's tricky moment returns

Loletta Chu Ling-ling, dubbed the prettiest Miss Hong Kong, has revealed her most awkward moment. But it appeared that netizens found something that happened during her interview even more embarrassing.

TVB uploaded a rare clip of Chu, who was interviewed by host Philip Chan Yan-kin decades ago, about her biggest faux pas.

Chu hesitated to tell him her story at the beginning, then he placed his hand on her shoulder and said: "Just whisper in my ear, I won't tell others."

Many netizens said they were oddly aware of Chan's hand and some felt unsettled by the intimacy.

As the camera panned to Chu's then-husband Timothy Fok Tsun-ting, who was sitting behind her, some commented: "Fok's smile looks a bit embarrassed."

The beauty still shared her story in the end.

"There was a time when I was in a hurry, so I just wore sunglasses and did not look at the mirror before I went out. I later found out that I was wearing a perm rod on my hair. It's just me being too stupid," she said with a shy smile.

"Luckily I was not in Hong Kong at that time and nobody knew me."
