Indonesian woman found dead in Mong Kok home

A 43-year-old Indonesian woman was found dead inside her Mong Kok residence early Thursday morning.

Police received a report at around midnight that a woman had collapsed in a unit at 158 Sai Yeung Choi Street South. Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.

The woman, who lived alone, had previously told a friend she was feeling unwell before losing contact. The friend discovered her body after visiting the apartment to check on her.

Initial investigation revealed no suspicious circumstances. The cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.
