Kai Tak Sports Park has welcomed its one-millionth visitor just five months after its inauguration in March, establishing itself as a major attraction for sports enthusiasts in Hong Kong.
This significant milestone was reached during the "Hong Kong Football Festival 2025," which attracted nearly 100,000 spectators across two blockbuster matches.
The record-breaking attendance was highlighted during the "Herbalgy Cup" match on Thursday, July 31, where a clash between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur drew 49,975 fans—the highest single-match turnout since the venue's opening.
Additionally, the "Standard Chartered Cup" match on July 26, featuring AC Milan versus Liverpool, ended with a 4-2 victory for AC Milan and was attended by 49,704 spectators. Together, these two matches brought in a total of 99,679 football fans.
Since opening, Kai Tak Sports Park has hosted nine major events over 27 event days. The organizers have committed to continuing to deliver world-class spectacles, further cementing the venue’s reputation as "Hong Kong's Home Ground."
