Hong Kong is the inaugural Asian city to host this immersive museum, curated by the football icon.
The footballer's brother, Hugo dos Santos Aveiro, also attended the opening ceremony of the Museum on Monday.
Ronaldo fans formed a long queue outside the museum early in the morning before it opened, with Elvin, who has been a fan of Ronaldo for six years, queuing since 9am.
"Ronaldo's spirit of never giving up inspires me to give my all in everything I do. I came today to see him, but was disappointed to find out he did not show up," Elvin said.
While he did not get to see his idol, Elvin was still thrilled to receive a signed jersey from Ronaldo – handed to him by the legend’s older brother, who manages the CR7 museum in Portugal.
Another fan said he visited the museum to see the Portuguese icon's childhood life.
"I want to understand how he step-by-step became the football superstar he is today," he said.
Spanning an area of 12,000 square feet, the exhibition showcases Ronaldo's distinguished career through a diverse array of trophies, including numerous Ballon d'Or accolades, memorabilia, a signed Sporting CP number 28 jersey, and various iconic match jerseys, alongside cutting-edge interactive exhibits.
The museum features a multimedia interactive zone where visitors can experience pivotal moments from Ronaldo's career through behind-the-scenes footage and capture photos alongside a life-sized replica of the football legend.
Additionally, the AI photo booth allows attendees to simulate a photograph with the football legend. An official merchandise store will also provide exclusive collectibles to fans.
The museum is set to run for a year and is expected to attract over 12 million visitors.
